Guernsey deal puts Ogier on the road to award success
Ogier has been named ‘European Legal Services Provider, 2009’ by International Custody and Fund Administration (ICFA) Magazine.
Being the only offshore law firm on the shortlist, Ogier earned the award by demonstrating its capabilities through a number of noteworthy transactions undertaken by its European teams this year.
These include advising on the establishment of Burford Capital Limited, a Guernsey-based investment company, on what was anticipated to be the second largest listing on London’s AIM market in 2009.

Being named the top European Legal Services Provider by IFCA Magazine is a great accolade for the firm. It is evidence that our standing and reputation offshore has broadened as this latest award is a European specific award.”
