Join Guernsey Finance's Asia private wealth roadshow in Singapore to learn more about Guernsey's expertise in the trust and fiduciary, banking, and investment management sectors as well as the benefits of living, working and doing business on the island.

A specialist delegation of industry experts from Guernsey Finance will host meetings and a roundtable lunch exploring what makes Guernsey a globally recognised leader in private wealth. Melanie Ison is a private wealth specialist with extensive experience advising high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners on managing, protecting, and growing their wealth. Having spent 13 years living and working in Asia, she brings valuable international experience and a broad understanding of the needs of globally connected clients.  

Melanie works closely with clients to develop tailored wealth planning strategies, encompassing investment management, wealth preservation, succession planning, and intergenerational wealth transfer. Known for her personable approach and commitment to building long-term trusted relationships, she helps clients navigate the complexities of wealth succession and legacy planning with confidence and clarity, ensuring their wealth is structured to support future generations and long-term family objectives.

Barnaby Molloy

Chief Executive Guernsey Finance

Barnaby is Chief Executive Officer at Guernsey Finance. He sits on the board and acts as representative of the company to external stakeholders across Government, finance industry organisations and associations, and regulation.

Barnaby’s professional background is in marketing, with 20 years international experience across financial services and gaming, specialising in digital marketing strategy and complex campaign integration. Alongside his role at Guernsey Finance, he sits on the IoD Guernsey Branch Committee and holds a number of non-executive directorships and roles across marketing, technology, education and the third sector. 

Barnaby holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and politics from Bristol UWE and has a sustainable finance certificate with the University of Cambridge. He is a Chartered Marketer and fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, holds the diploma in company direction and is a member of the Institute of Directors.

Rupert Morris

Partner Walkers

Rupert heads Walkers’ Channel Islands Private Capital & Trusts group and has more than 15 years’ experience as a private wealth specialist focusing on private client advisory and structuring work. Since qualifying as a Guernsey Advocate, Rupert also has experience as a contentious practitioner, appearing before the Guernsey courts at all levels. He is recognised as one of the leading lawyers in his field in Guernsey. 

Rupert’s clients include leading trust companies, financial institutions, government departments and ultra-high net worth individuals. He helps them with all aspects of local and cross-border advisory and structuring work, impact investment, charitable structures, and regulatory matters including tax investigations and dawn raids. Before joining Walkers in 2017, Rupert was a Guernsey Advocate in the Fiduciary and Litigation departments of two leading offshore firms.

Alison oversees the private client and family office teams at Equiom Guernsey. With more than 30 years' experience in managing complex family and corporate structures across multiple jurisdictions, Alison has extensive experience working with private clients, families; and entrepreneurs. She specialises in international family structures, business succession planning; and technically complex restructuring projects. Her ability to understand clients' needs and goals allows her to provide tailored solutions that support long-term success.

Alison is well regarded within the private wealth industry, with international experience spanning the UK, US, Europe; and Asia. She has proven leadership skills, a strong corporate governance ethic; and has served on numerous boards as an Executive and Non-Executive Director, offering expertise in governance and financial matters.

Tom Zierer

Senior Executive Director Praxis

Tom serves as Senior Executive Director in Hong Kong SAR, focused on business development in Asia, working closely with intermediaries and clients to deliver structuring solutions that support local and cross-border corporate structuring, asset protection, succession planning and long-term wealth preservation.

Prior to relocating to Hong Kong SAR in 2025, Tom was Client Relationship Director in Praxis’ Guernsey office, providing director and trustee services to a diverse portfolio of private clients and high-net-worth individuals. His expertise encompasses various asset classes, including commercial property, complex investment structures, and luxury assets and is equipped to deal with complex transactions.
