Solly Bourne is a Senior Manager with Marsh Management Services (Guernsey) Limited and has more than 30 years’ experience in the insurance and captive management industry. Throughout his career, he has managed and advised a wide range of captive and commercial insurance structures for multinational and complex risk clients across multiple sectors.

Solly is recognised for his detailed technical knowledge across captive management, underwriting, reinsurance structures, insurance accounting and regulatory matters. He has significant experience supporting captive formations, cross-border restructurings, domicile transitions and innovative insurance solutions, including the establishment of Malta operations and migration of captive business from Guernsey. In addition to his client management responsibilities, Solly is a member of Marsh’s global captive sales force and serves on the Regulatory & Technical Committee of the Guernsey International Insurance Association.

With over 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry, Ben has worked for broking firms, mutual companies, insurers and most recently, for captive managers. 

Ben specialises in designing and managing captive programmes for rail network risks, the oil and gas industry and he leads the new business team at WTW Guernsey. He is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, President of the Insurance Institute of Guernsey and Past President of the Bristol Chartered Institute.

Jamie Polson is Managing Director of SRS’s European Captive Management team based in Guernsey. He is responsible for leading the business’s strategic direction, overseeing operations, and guiding the executive team to deliver sustainable growth, operational excellence and strong regulatory compliance. Over the past 25 years, Jamie has gained a wealth of experience managing some of the largest captive insurance companies for multinational organisations across sectors including banking, construction, dairy, aviation, marine, retail and technology.

Jamie has worked in the finance industry since 1997, initially within the private banking sector with Coutts in Guernsey and Jersey before moving into the insurance industry in 2001 with Aon as an accountant. In 2014, Jamie joined the Board of Robus Risk, an independent insurance manager,  becoming Managing Director in 2021. In 2024 Robus was acquired by the SRS Group and Jamie took on the position of Managing Director for the consolidated Guernsey office.

Johannes is a Client Services Director at Howden Captive Services and specialises in the structuring and management of captive insurance and alternative risk transfer programmes across multiple jurisdictions.

He is a Chartered Accountant (SA) and holds a Diploma from the Chartered Insurance Institute.
