Jane Niles is Chief Executive Officer of Investec Bank (Channel Islands) Limited, leading the business across the Crown Dependencies with responsibility for strategy, client growth, and the continued development of Investec’s private banking and lending offering in the region.
Jane joined Investec in 2016 following an international banking career spanning London and Hong Kong, where she held senior leadership roles within global banking and markets, focused on corporate, institutional, and private clients. Since joining Investec, she has held a number of senior leadership positions including Head of Corporate and Family Office, Head of Offshore Real Estate, and Head of Lending, before becoming CEO in October 2023.
With more than 25 years’ experience in banking and finance, Jane has built and led client relationships across domestic, offshore, and international jurisdictions, working with entrepreneurs, international families, family offices, institutional investors, intermediaries, and global corporates. Her experience spans private banking, wealth structuring, real estate finance, infrastructure and corporate lending, debt capital markets, and strategic advisory across complex cross-border transactions and intergenerational wealth considerations.
Prior to Investec, Jane held senior banking roles in London and Hong Kong, leading large corporate and infrastructure banking teams across Asia and advising on significant international transactions across the utilities, infrastructure, telecommunications, and commodities sectors. Her work included supporting boards, governments, multinational businesses, and major investors on strategic growth and financing initiatives.
Alongside her executive responsibilities, Jane is Deputy Chair of the Association of Guernsey Banks and has also acted as an advisor to the States of Guernsey on housing and infrastructure matters, bringing commercial and sector expertise to public policy development. She has been actively involved in the Guernsey community through a number of public and voluntary roles.
