Women in Family Office Report

This report, produced with Family Capital, explores the state of the market and how women are under-represented in senior finance positions, with just 4% of single-family office principles being women, and only 12% of family offices employing women in a senior legal role. The changing nature of female representation in Middle Eastern family offices is also explored, with data highlighting women manage just 13% of the regions’ wealth, although there is a growing acceptance of women providing financial advice. Guernsey’s gender balance is considered, with the significantly above global average 25% of senior managers and directors being women. The world-renowned good governance of Guernsey’s finance industry is examined, with the effective decision-making framework, alternative dispute resolution process, and longevity of structures highlighted.
