Andy Finch, CEO, International of Canaccord Wealth, has been appointed to Guernsey Finance’s Board of Directors, concluding a recruitment process initiated in September.
Andy, who brings more than 40 years of international experience in the financial services industry, joins Glen Tonks and Deputy Rhona Humphreys as new non-executive members.
Since joining Canaccord in 2002, he has held several senior leadership roles, most recently Managing Director of Canaccord Wealth Funds and has overseen the firm’s international expansion including opening branches in Singapore and the Dubai International Finance Centre. He currently chairs the International Executive Committee and represents the International division on the firm’s Strategic Oversight Committee.
Andy’s expertise in global distribution and proven leadership skills in driving organic growth, will play an important role in supporting Guernsey Finance’s mission to promote and connect Guernsey as a leading international finance centre. His extensive knowledge of the wealth management industry and experience serving high-net-worth clients and their advisers will also contribute valuable knowledge of Guernsey’s private wealth ecosystem.
His achievements have earned him industry-wide recognition, including CEO of the Year at the 2022 WealthBriefing Channel Island Awards and Personality of the Year (Industry) at the 2023 International Investment Awards.

Andy joins the Board ahead of Guernsey Finance’s annual Industry Update on 21 January, at which the organisation will set out its achievements and priorities for 2026.
